CAUTION 1: Connecting to More Than one Computer Devices:
This cable modem provides you the feature for Ethernet and USB interfaces to operate on 2 different computer devices simultaneously. However, you have to obtain additional IP addresses from your cable service provider.
CAUTION 2: Do not using USB and Ethernet in one computer at the same time. You are strongly recommended to connect to the Internet using either the Ethernet port or the USB port only. In most cases CATV ISPs provide one IP address only, having the USB and Ethernet cables plugged into the cable modem at the same time might cause you to access the Internet improperly.
