Port Statistics Screen
The Port Statistics Screen allows you to display statistics for each port on
the switch. Many of these statistics correspond to the Statistics group of
RMON. You can also refresh or clear the statistics. Select s from the
Switch Statistics Screen to view the Port Statistics screen. Figure 3-21
shows the Port Statistics Screen and the accompanying table describes
the Port Statistics Screen.

Field Description
Frames Transmitted Total number of frames transmitted on the port.
Frames Received Total number of frames received on the port.
Frames Forwarded Total number of frames received on the port which were
forwarded to other ports.
Frames Filtered Total number of frames received on the port which were
filtered.
Frames Dropped Total number of frames received on the port which were
dropped by the switch due to lack of resources.
Broadcasts Transmitted Total number of broadcast frames transmitted on the port.
Broadcasts Received Total number of broadcast frames received on the port.
