ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

CAUTION

Avoid Electric Shock

This appliance has a magnetic plug (that connects to the deep fryer) and a 2-prong polarized plug (with one blade wider than the other) that inserts in the electrical outlet. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet completely, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Short Cord Instructions

Your Calphalon deep fryer has a short power supply cord as a safety precaution to prevent personal injury or property damage resulting from becoming entangled with a longer cord. Do not allow children to be near this appliance without adult supervision. DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.
