1.Take time to lubricate tool during a big job (every 500 screws) or when using 2 to 3 inch screws. Follow instructions for air motor and clutch mechanism lubrication.

2.When driving fasteners into soft wood no pilot hole is needed. Space screws a minimum of 1 inch apart to avoid splitting. The high torque tool will drive screws up to 3 inch long.

3.Drill a pilot hole 90% of screw length when working with hardwoods. The high torque tool will drive screws up to 1-1⁄2 inch long.

Storage

Lubricate air tool before storing. Follow air motor lubrication instructions with an exception to Step 4. Only run the air tool for 2 to 3 seconds instead of 20 to 30 seconds to allow more oil to remain in the air tool.
