Encrypted Secured Printfeature can encrypt your documents
before theyare sent over the network and decrypt and print
onlyafter the correct password is entered on the device. With
Canon’simageRUNNER Security option, data on the device’s
drive can be secured with 168-bitencryption technology and
setto automatically overwrite traces of previously stored data.
SECUREDIGITAL DOCUMENTS
The Universal Send PDFSecurity Feature Set provides advanced
optionsto prevent impersonation, unauthorized alteration, or
interception ofyour documents. With Digital Device Signature
mode, recipientscan be assured of the originating device of
documents. You can also protectthe contents of yourdocuments
with the Encrypted PDFfeature, and secure them with a pass-
word to restrictaccess, editing, and printing. The Digital User
Signature option enablesverification of your identity to recipients
byadding your digital certificate to your documents.
ACCESSIBILITY

accessfor every authorized user of the ColorimageRUNNER
device. The Remote Operator’sSoftware option provides the
capabilityto operate the device from any networked computer
byemulating the device’s control panel. Users with visual
impairmentscan use the Voice Guidance option, which provides
speech synthesisfor programming and job confirmation during
the copyprocess. The Braille Label option improvesaccess to
copyand print functions by adding transparent labels to hard
keyson the device.
