Still Images

Changing the Compression Ratio (Image Quality)

Choose from two compression ratios, as follows: (Fine), (Normal). For guidelines on how many shots at each compression ratio can fit on a memory card, see “Specifications” in the Getting Started guide.

Configure the setting.

z Press the mbutton, choose in the menu, press the nbutton, and choose the desired option (p. 40).

XThe option you configured is now displayed. z To restore the original setting, repeat this

process but choose .

Red-Eye Correction

Red-eye that occurs in the flash photography can be automatically corrected as follows.

Access the [Built-in FlashSettings] screen.

z Press the nbutton, choose [Flash Control] on the 4tab, and then press the m button (p. 41).
