Image Brightness (Exposure Compensation) Changing the Metering Method

Adjust the metering method (how brightness is measured) to suit shooting conditions as follows.

zPress the button, turn the 7dial to

		choose the desired option, and then press
		the	button again.
		XThe option you configured is now displayed.

	Evaluative	For typical shooting conditions, including backlit shots.
	Evaluative	Automatically adjusts exposure to match the shooting conditions.


	Center	Determines the average brightness of light across the entire image
	Center	area, calculated by treating brightness in the central area as more
