zzFor powering the camera using household power. Recommended when using the camera over extended periods, or when connecting the camera to a printer or computer. Cannot be used to charge the camera battery.

•The battery charger and AC adapter kit can be used in areas with

100 – 240 V AC power (50/60 Hz).

•For power outlets in a different format, use a commercially available adapter for the plug. Never use an electrical transformer designed for traveling, which may damage the battery.

Flash Units

High-Power Flash HF-DC2

zzExternal flash for illuminating subjects that are out of range of the built-in flash. High-Power Flash HF-DC1 can also be used.

Speedlite 600EX‑RT, 600EX, 580EX II, 430EX II, 320EX, 270EX II

zzShoe-mounted flash unit that enables many styles of flash photography. Speedlite 580EX, 430EX, 270EX, and 220EX are also supported.
