Locking or Changing Image Brightness Before Shooting

Before shooting, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop increments within a range of –2 to +2.

1Lock the exposure.

zzPress the <o> button to lock the exposure. The exposure shift bar is displayed.

zzTo unlock the exposure, press the <o> button again.

2Adjust the exposure.

zzTurn the <5> dial to adjust the exposure, as you watch the screen.

3Shoot (=88).

Shooting iFrame Movies

Shoot movies that can be edited with iFrame-compatible software or devices. You can quickly edit, save, and manage iFrame movies using the included software (=31).

1Choose [].

zzSet the mode dial to <E>.

zzPress the <m> button, choose [E] in the menu, and then choose [] (=46).

XXBlack bars displayed on the top and bottom edges of the screen indicate image areas not recorded.

2Shoot (=88).

The resolution is [] (=70) and cannot be changed.
