Switching between Focus Settings

Available Shooting Modes p. 300

You can set the AF mode.

The camera is continually focusing on whatever it is aimed at Continuous even when the shutter button is not pressed, allowing you to

shoot without missing opportunities.

	Single	The camera only focuses when the shutter button is pressed
	Single	halfway, conserving battery power.

1 Select [AF Mode].

1. Press the MENU button.

2.In the menu, use the or

button to select [AF Mode].

2 Make settings.

1.Use the or button to select AF mode.

2. Press the MENU button.

This will be set when the AF frame mode is set to [Face Detect], [FlexiZone] or [Center]. This will be fixed to [Single] when the AF frame mode is set to [AiAF] (p. 121).
