This section introduces you to your new projector and d escribes the features and controls.

The LV-7365/LV-7265/LV-7260/LV-X7 is one of the very best projector s available today. The projector enables you
to project p recise images up to 3 00 inches across (measured diagonally) from your PC or Macintosh c omputer
(desktop or notebook), VCR, DVD player, document camera, or a laser disc player.
You can use the projector on a tabletop or cart, from behind a screen, or permanently mounted on a ceiling*1. The
remote control can be used wirelessly.

The projector must b e installed by quali ed technicians in order to ensure pr oper operation and reduce the
risk of bodily injury.
In addition, the ceiling m ust be strong enough to support the projector an d the installation must b e in accor-
dance with any local building codes. Please c onsult your dealer for more information.

Eight seconds after turning on the power, the projector is ready to d isplay PC or video images*.
Powering down; The fans stop 30 seconds after turning off the power from the remote control or cabinet c on-
trol panel. The projector can be put away immediately after th e projector is powered down.
Also, the main power of the projec tor can be turne d off by press ing the main power switch or unpl ugging the
power cord even during the cool down period after the pro jector is turned off.
* If you turn on the projector immediate ly after the lamp is turned off or when the temperature is high, the fans
runs without displaying an image for some time and th en the projector will display the image.
