Storage

If you do not intend to use the camcorder for a long time, store it in a place free of dust,
in low humidity, and at temperatures not higher than 30 °C (86 °F).
After storage, check the functions of your camcorder to make sure that the camcorder
is still working properly.

Cleaning

Camcorder Body and Lens

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camcorder body. Never use chemically treated cloth
or volatile solvents such as paint thinner.
Use a clean, soft cloth of the type used to clean eyeglasses to gently wipe the lens.
Never use tissue paper to clean the lens.

LCD Screen

Clean the LCD screen using a commercially available cleaning cloth for glasses.
Condensation may form on the surface of the screen when the temperature changes
suddenly. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth.

Viewfinder

Clean the viewfinder screen using a blower brush or a commercially available cleaning
cloth for glasses.
To clean any dust or dirt particles that may accumulate in the inside of the viewfinder:
• Pull out the viewfinder.
• Open the LCD panel 90 degrees and then turn it 180 degrees to wards the front of the
camera.
• Open the protective cover and while looking through the viewfinder, insert a cotton
swab through the opening and gently wipe the inside of the viewfinder lens.
• After cleaning the viewfinder, close the protective cover and return the LCD panel
and viewfinder to their original positions.
When cleaning the inside of the viewfinder be careful not to scratch the glass.
