Using the Flash
Use the flash according to the guidelines below.
The flash fires automatically as required by the lighting level, and the | ||

Auto | The flash fires automatically as required by the lighting level. |
Flash on | The flash always fires. |
Flash off | The flash does not fire. |
1Press the button to switch between flash modes.
•The selected flash mode appears on the LCD monitor.
2Shoot the image.
•The flash will fire if the indicator beside the viewfinder shines orange when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
•Shooting procedures are the same as for theAuto mode (p. 44).
The flash cannot be used with some shooting modes.
