Shooting Close-ups (Macro)

You can shoot an object at a close distance or even shoot extreme closeups of it. The shooting range is approximately 5 – 50 cm (2.0 in. – 1.6 ft.) from the end of the lens (when the zoom lever is pushed to maximum j).

●After pressing the qbutton, press the qr buttons or turn the Ê dial to choose e, then press the m button.

How can I take better close-ups?

•It is recommended to attach the camera to a tripod to prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image.

•You can reduce the AF frame size when you want to focus on a specific portion of the subject (p. 84).

The edges of the image may darken if the flash fires.
