.Memory Card Handling Precautions

Certain types of memory cards can slow down processing speed. Whenever possible use an Ultra High-Speed Type memory card. Note, however, that not all operations can be guaranteed even if an Ultra High-Speed Type memory card is used. Certain movie quality settings can result in too much time being required to record data, which can result in breaks in the image and/or audio during playback. If this happens, the » and Y will flash on the monitor screen.

Reset Initial Default Settings

The tables in this section show the initial default settings on menus that appear in the REC mode and PLAY mode when you reset the camera (page 102).

A dash (–) indicates an item whose setting is not reset or an item for which there is no reset setting.

IMPORTANT!

Depending on the recording mode, some of the items on the menu that appears may not be usable.
