Changing the Auto Focus Area
Use the following procedure to change the metering area used for Auto Focus (AF).
1.In the REC mode, press [MENU].
2.On the “REC” tab, select “AF Area” and then press [X].
3.Use [S] and [T] to select the setting you want and then press [SET].

•If the camera is able to focus on multiple points, all applicable focus frames turn green.
NOTE
•When you select “ Multi” as the focus area, nine focus frames appear on the monitor screen. The
camera will automatically determine the optimum focus frame(s), which will change to green on the monitor screen.
