To use the cash register’s basic function
Programming PLUsLike departments, you can program unit price, taxable status, and linking item group in a PLU (Price Look Up). Using PLUs allow you to register items quickly and accurately. You can use up to 7,000 PLUs.

1 Turn the Mode switch to PGM position. The display shows the top screen of programming.
2 Using ?or >keys, select [PLU Setting] then press Fkey. The display shows [PLU Setting] screen.
3 Enter the PLU number (0014 in this example) then press Fkey. The display shows [PLU Setting] screen. You can change the PLU number by using?or >keys.
4 Press Fkey. The display shows program input screen. Input unit price and group link you wish to program. The top column is for setting characters to the PLU. You can leave the column empty. If you wish to set characters now, please see page
5 Select [Taxable Status] and press Fkey. The display shows taxable status selection screen. Choose the taxable status and press Fkey.
