2. Connect the USB cable that comes bundled
with the camera to the USB cradle and the
USB port of your Macintosh.
Orient the USB plug so it correctly matches the shape of
the USB port when you connect them.
Plug the USB cable into the ports securely, as far as it will
go. Proper operation is not possible if connections are not
correct.
3. Press the camera’s [ON/OFF] button to turn it
on and then press [MENU].
Do not place the camera on the USB cradle yet.
4. On the “Set Up” tab, select “USB” and then
press [X].
5. Use [S] and [T] to select “Mass Storage” and
then press [SET].
6. Press the camera’s [ON/OFF] button to turn it
off and then place the camera on the USB
cradle.
Do not place the camera onto the USB cradle while it is
turned on.
If you plan to transfer images from the camera’s built-in
memory to your Macintosh, make sure there is no
memory card loaded in the camera.
