Precauciones para el cableado

Cuando haga pasar cables a través de chapa metálica, utilice anillos de goma para separar los bordes metálicos de las camisas de los cables. Esta técnica evita roces y posibles cortocir- cuitos que podrían dañar un amplificador u otros componentes electrónicos del sistema.

Nota: Recomendamos usar terminales de presión para conectar altavoces. El soldar los ter minales puede separar el cable interno del terminal, haciendo que el altavoz falle.

Notas generales

Si bien el altavoz tiene un cono de polipropileno, la excesiva exposición a la humedad puede dañar el cono o las conexiones de los terminales. Siempre se debe volver a sellar el forro de plástico dentro de la puerta. Si este forro se daña, puede repararse con cinta adhesiva. Si el fabricante no ha instalado un forro, compre deflectores de plástico estándar e instálelos sobre la parte trasera del altavoz. Tenga en cuenta que los portazos pueden aflojar el altavoz, moviéndolo del sitio donde está instalado.

Cableado y pruebas del sistema

Conecte el altavoz al amplificador móvil de su vehículo. Cuando haga las conexiones, cuide de observar la polaridad correcta (+ a + y – a –). Una vez hechas todas las conexiones, encien- da el sistema de audio y aumente lentamente el volumen, al tiempo que toca una música favorita. Si no oye nada, apague el sistema, revise todas las conexiones y vuelva a encenderlo. Si el problema persiste, comuníquese con su distribuidor de productos Cerwin-Vega para obtener ayuda adicional.
