
Attach the Rail to the Motor Unit
To avoid installation difficulties, do not run the garage door opener until instructed to do so.
ïRemove the bolt and lock nut from the top of the motor unit.
ïPlace rail onto the bolt mounted on the motor unit and align the back hole with the hole in the top of the unit.
ïFasten rail with the washered bolt and lock nut previously removed. Tighten securely. (Figure 1)
Remember to use only these bolts/fasteners! Any other bolts/fasteners will cause serious damage to the opener.
ASSEMBLY STEP 2
Attach the Chain Spreader
ïAttach chain spreader to the motor unit with two screws (Figure 2).
ïGuide the chain around the selected groove in the chain spreader, to engage either the

ASSEMBLY STEP 3
Attach the Chassis Support Bracket
ï | Position the rail support bracket on the unit. |
ï | Attach the bracket to the rail with |
| bolts and lock washers. |
ï | Attach the bracket to the opener by inserting a |

| each side flange and a matching hole in the |
| bracket. Complete the connection by inserting the |
WARNING
To avoid possible SERIOUS INJURY to fingers from moving garage door opener:
•ALWAYS keep hand clear of sprocket while operating opener.
•Securely attach sprocket cover BEFORE operating.
