Chicago Electric 65414 manual Engine System, Possible Cause, Possible Solution

Engine not run-	1.	Poor Fuel quality.	1.	Replace fuel with 91+ octane premium
ning Smoothly				unleaded gasoline.
	2.	Incorrect choke setting.	2.	Adjust the choke.
	3.	Incorrect Timing.	3.	Have the timing checked by a qualified
				technician.

Problem: Engine stops suddenly while running. See chart below:

Fuel Supply	1.	Fuel is used up.	1.	Check fuel level and refill as needed.
System	2.	Fuel Filter is clogged.	2.	Clean Fuel Filter.
	3.	Carburetor Float is leaking.	3.	Replace if needed.
	4.	Needle Valve sticks.	4.	Clean and readjust.
Ignition System	1. Engine Switch is in OFF position.		1.	Move Switch to ON position.
	2.	Spark Plug tip is burned through	2.	Clean or replace spark plug. Reset

	3.	Spark Plug Wire is disconnected.	3.	Check connections at both ends.
	4.	Spark Plug wire is shorting against	4.	Check condition of spark plug wire,

	7.	Worn Piston, Piston Ring or Cylinder	7.	Check clearances, replace as

				sure choke if fully open. Reduce
