2.Push the Miter Saw’s Motor Housing (26) forward as far as it will go. Notice whether the edge of the Saw Blade (51) passes completely through the Kerf Board (114). (See Figure M.)

3.If the Saw Blade (51) does not pass completely through the Kerf Board (114), lower the Saw Blade slightly by turning the Hex Head Bolt (71) COUNTER- CLOCKWISE. (See Figure M.)

4.After adjusting the Hex Head Bolt (71), press down on the Miter Saw and make sure the Saw Blade (51) does not contact the bottom of the Turn Base (125) or any other part of the Saw Base. (See Figure M.)

5.If the Saw Blade (51) touches the Turn Base (125) or any other part of the Saw Base, turn the Hex Head Bolt (71) CLOCKWISE to raise the Saw Blade slightly until it clears. (See Figure M.)
