Operations Common to Each Mode

Setting the method for title scroll

Set how to scroll in CD-TEXT, MP3/WMA title.

The factory default setting is “ON”.

2-1. Select “ AUTO SCRL”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select “ON” or “OFF”.

• ON:

To scroll automatically.

• OFF:

To scroll just 1 time when the title was changed or the [T] button was pressed for 1 second or longer.

Dimmer control

You can set the dimmer control “ON” or “OFF”.

The factory default setting is “ON”.

2-1. Select “ DIMMER”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select “ON” or “OFF”.

To change other settings

1.Press the [ADJ] button to switch to the adjustment selection display.

2.Press the [å, ] lever upward or downward to select the “item name”. Each time the [å, ] lever is pressed up/down, the item display changes in the following order:

“ BLINK LED”

AMP CANCEL”

“ SID DISP”

AUX SENS”

“ SYSTEM”

3.Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select the “desired setting item”.

After completing settings, press the [ADJ] button to return to the previous mode.

Setting the external amplifier

The factory default setting is “OFF”.

2-1. Select “ AMP CANCEL”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select “ON” or “OFF”.

• ON:

Use with connected AMP.

• OFF:

Use with inside AMP.

Displaying the Satellite ID No.

This function only applies when a Satellite receiver is connected.

The factory default setting is the upper 6 digits.

2-1. Select “ SID DISP”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to switch between the display for the upper 6 digits and lower

6digits.

Selecting AUX IN sensitivity

Make the following settings to select the sensitivity when sounds from external devices connected to this unit are difficult to hear even after adjusting the volume.

The factory default setting is “MID”.

2-1. Select “ AUX SENS”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select “LOW”, “MID” or “HIGH”.

Performing a system check

This function allows you to perform a system check from the adjust mode when required.

2-1. Select “ SYSTEM ”.

3-1. Press and hold the [ ] button for 1 second or longer.

SYSTEM CHECK” appears in the display, then the unit returns to the previous operation mode.

Anti-theft indicator

The red Anti-theft indicator is a function for preventing theft. When the DCP is removed from the unit, this indicator blinks.

The factory default setting is “OFF”.

3-1. Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select “ON” or “OFF”.
