The Classé CAM200 equipped with a rail currents sensors to protect the output drivers under extreme condition such as short output, and Mosfet fuses (2AG 1/2 PT, 1/2 amp fast blow) to protect the Mosfets, which are used as pre-drivers for the output stage of the amplifier.

Also the CAM200 has an output DC sensor, this will put the CAM200 on protection mode in the event DC occurs at the output of the amplifier or heavy clipping of output signals. There is also an AC line fuse protecting the unit. It is located at the back of the unit immediately above the AC receptacle (see fig.1, page 10).

If the protection circuit of the unit is triggered or any of the fuses has blown, the FRONT PANEL POWER LED will go to BLINKING GREEN, indicating a “fault” condition.

WHEN THE PROTECTION CIRCUIT HAS BEEN TRIGGERED, UNPLUG THE AMP FROM THE OUTLET. Check for any possible event that might trigger the protection circuitry Such as short output, blow Mosfet fuses, after the situation which has triggered the protection circuit has been clearly identified and corrected, attempt to re-start the unit. IF THE UNIT STILL GOES INTO PROTECTION MODE, OR IF IT APPEARS THAT PROTECTION FUSES DID BLOW, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DEALER. DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE A BLOWN FUSE. REPLACING A FUSE WITHOUT CHECKING FOR COMPONENT FAILURE COULD RESULT IN FURTHER, SERIOUS DAMAGE TO VITAL COMPONENTS IN YOUR AMPLIFIER. CAM-200 specifications

The Classe Audio CAM-200 is a distinguished model in the high-performance amplifiers category, renowned for its exceptional sound quality and robust engineering. Known for its sleek aesthetics and powerful performance, the CAM-200 epitomizes Classe's commitment to delivering an unparalleled audio experience.

One of the main features of the CAM-200 is its Class AB amplification, which combines the benefits of both Class A and Class B designs. This unique configuration allows the amplifier to produce high power levels while maintaining low distortion, ensuring a clean and dynamic sound across the frequency spectrum. With an output of 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms, and the capability to drive lower impedance loads, the CAM-200 is versatile enough to handle a wide range of speakers with ease.

Another standout characteristic of the CAM-200 is its fully balanced design, which significantly reduces noise and interference, leading to a more refined sound. This approach is crucial in high-end audio systems where signal integrity is paramount. The balanced circuitry works harmoniously with both single-ended and balanced input sources, providing flexibility in system configurations.

The CAM-200 also features advanced thermal management systems, including high-quality heat sinks and efficient power supplies. This not only enhances reliability but also allows the amplifier to maintain optimal performance even during extended listening sessions at high volumes. The low noise floor of the CAM-200 contributes to its ability to resolve intricate details in music, bringing out nuances that might otherwise be lost in inferior designs.

Additionally, the build quality of the CAM-200 reflects Classe’s dedication to excellence, as it is constructed with premium materials and finishes. The rugged chassis provides excellent isolation from outside interference, while the minimalist design philosophy ensures that form complements function.

In conclusion, the Classe Audio CAM-200 is more than just an amplifier—it's a gateway to an extraordinary audio experience. With its Class AB amplification, fully balanced design, and robust build quality, it caters to the discerning audiophile seeking depth, clarity, and power in their sound systems. Whether used in a dedicated listening room or as part of a comprehensive home theater setup, the CAM-200 is poised to deliver a listening experience that is both immersive and engaging.
