There is no power to the d evice.
Ensure that the Power Switch on t he main unit is physically se t to the ON position.
Ensure that the AC adapter cord i s securely connected to t he player and the proper wall o utlet.
The device will not pla y the disc.
Ensure that a supported di sc is loaded in the player label -side up.
Ensure that the disc’s rating level d oes not exceed the player’s par ental rating level.
Ensure that the disc is not damag ed or too dirty.
Clean the disc or try an other disc.Moisture m ay have condensed inside t he player. Remove the disc and
leave the player on for 1-2 hours and t hen try again.
There is no picture.
Ensure that the TV set has bee n powered on and is set to the cor rect AV mode.
Ensure that the connecti ons between the player and t he TV are secure and cor rect.
Check if the connectio n cables are damaged.
The picture is noisy o r distorted.
The disc may be damaged or dir ty. Clean the disc or try ano ther one.
Reset your TV’s color syste m.
Ensure that th e player is connected d irectly to the TV (and not throug h a VCR, cable box, satellite re-
ceiver, etc.)
The picture is not ful l-screen.
Change the aspect ratio se tting of your player from the S etup menu.
Select a different aspe ct ratio option from th e DVD disc menu.
There is no sound or dis torted sound.
Ensure that the TV and ampli er have been turned on and p roperly set up.
