built-up static charges. Articl e 810 of the Natio nal Electrical Code, ANS/NFPA 70 provides
information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporti ng structure, ground-
ing of the lead- in wire to an an tenna-discharge unit , size of grounding conductors, locat ion
of antenna- discharge u nit, connec tion to grounding electrodes, and requir ements for the
grounding electrode (see gure).
Lightning: For added protection for this produc t, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect 16.
