■■Screw propane cylinder into lantern. Take care not to cross- thread. Hand tighten only.
■■Set legs of base in outer position.
■■Set lantern into base.
CAUTION
Match Light Lantern
■■Push lighted match through lighting hole, hold near mantle and open fuel valve fully.
INSTASTART™ Electronic Ignition Lantern
■■Turn fuel valve on. The valve will click and a spark will jump between electrodes and ignite the mantles.
•SERVICE SAFETY
•Keep all connections and fit- tings clean. Inspect propane cylinder and lantern propane connections for damage before attaching.
•During set up, check all con- nections and fittings for leaks using soapy water. Bubbles indi- cate a leak. Never use a flame.
