TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY

Yournewtractorhasbeenassembledatthefactorywithexceptionofthosepartsleft

unassembledfor shippingpurposes.To ensuresafe and properoperationof your tractorall parts and hardwareyou assemble mustbe tightenedsecurely.Use the correcttoolsas necessaryto insure propertightness.Reviewthe videocassettebefore you begin.

TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY

Asocketwrenchset will make assembly

easier. Standardwrenchsizes you need are listed below.

(1) 9/16" wrench

(1) Pliers

(2) 1/2" wrench

(1) Utilityknife

When rightor left hand is mentionedin this manual, it means, from your pointof

view, when you are in the operating

position(seated behindthe steering :iII wheel).

TO REMOVETRACTOR FROM

CARTON UNPACK CARTON

I. Remove all accessible looseparts and partscartons from carton.

2.Cut, from top to bottom,along lines on all fourcomers of carton,and lay panelsflat.

3.Check for any additionallooseparts or cartonsand remove,

ASSEMBLE EXTENSION SHAFT AND BOOT

1.Slide extensionshaft onto lower

steering shaft. Alignmountingholes in extensionand lower shaftsand install5/16 hex bolt and Iocknut. Tighten securely.

2.Place tabs of,steedngbootover tab

slots in dash and push downto secure.

6.Assemble large flat washer, 3/8 lock washer, 3/8 hex bolt and tighten securely.

7.Snap steering wheel insert into center of steering wheel.

9.Remove protective materials from tractor hood and gdll.

IMPORTANT: Check for and remove any staples in skid that may puncture tire where tractor is to roll off skid.

INSTALL STEERING WHEEL

3.Positionfrontwheels of the tractorso they are pointingstraightforward.

4.Remove steeringwheel adapter from steeringwheel and slide adapteronto steeringshaft extension.

5.Positionsteeringwheel so cross bars are horizontal(left to right)and slide inside boot and onto adapter.

1. Lift seat pan to raised position and open battery box door.

NOTE: If this battery is put into service after month and year indicated on label (label located between terminals) charge battery for minimum of one hour at 6-10 amps. (See "BATTERY" in Maintenance section of this manual for charging

instructions).
