PROGRAMMED DISC PLAY

(Remote control only)

This feature allows you to play tracks in your preferred sequence.

It is not possible to program the CD player while the disc is playing. So, press the STOP button first, then enter a program.

ENTERING A PROGRAM

To program a desired sequence of tracks:

1.Select the first track using the or numeric 0- 9 buttons. Press the PROG button on the remote handset. The MEMORY symbol will illuminate and the track number will be displayed. The first selected track is now stored in the memory.

2. Select the next track number using the

 

 

 

or

numeric buttons. Press the PROG button again - the second choice is now stored in the memory.

3.Repeat the steps above until all the desired tracks are stored in the memory.

EXAMPLE

To play track 5, track 2 and track 8 in sequence:

Enter the first choice by selecting track 5 using

the or numeric button. Press the PROG button to store the first choice. Track 5 is now stored and the EDIT symbol will be displayed.

The time display will toggle between P: 1 and the playing time of the selection.

Enter the second choice - track 2 using the or numeric button. Press the PROG button to store the second choice. Track 2 is also stored.

Enter the third choice - track 8 in the same way. Press the PROG button to store the third choice.

Press the PLAY button. The first programmed track will start playing and the PROGRAM symbol is displayed.

LISTENING TO A PROGRAMMED

SEQUENCE

1.Press the PLAY button. The PLAY symbol will be displayed.

2.The disc will start playing the first programmed track.

NOTE: A maximum of 16 tracks only can be stored in the PROGRAM memory.

3.After the programmed sequence has finished playing, the track display and the time display will show the number of tracks played and the total playing time.

CHANGING THE PROGRAM

1.Press the STOP button if the disc is playing.

2.You can modify the program by entering new track numbers.

CLEARING THE MEMORY

1.Press the STOP button twice if the disc is playing.

2.Press OPEN/CLOSE button twice on the front or DISC button on the handset.

NOTE: The memory will also be cleared if the power is switched off on the rear panel.
