Crown recommends using pre-built or profes- sionally wired, balanced line (two-conductor plus shield), 22-24 gauge cables and connec- tors. Depending upon which amplifier input you choose, you should use either 3-pin male XLR connectors, TRS phone connectors, or terminal forks at the amplifier inputs.

Unbalanced lines may also be used but may

 

 

result in noise over long cable runs.
