A healthy start to the morning, this will give you energy for the entire day.

Makes about eight 8-ounce servings

3cups soy milk

2bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces

¼ cup protein powder

3 tablespoons flax seed meal

6 cups mixed berries (fresh and/or frozen, thawed)

Put all the ingredients, in the order listed, into the jar of your Cuisinart® PowerEdge® 1.3 HP Blender. Cover and run on the Smoothie function. Once the program is complete, turn the power off and serve.

Makes about eight 8-ounce servings

2½ cups orange juice

5cups 1-inch cubed cantaloupe 1½ cups nonfat plain yogurt

1½ cups standard-size ice cubes (about 8 to 10)
