Programming to Record at a Later Time

One of the most convenient features of your new TV/VCR Combination is the ability to record programs when you are not home. Your TV/VCR Combination can be set to record up to six different programs at any time up to a month from now.

Getting ready

Before programming to record, keep the following things in mind :

There must be a tape in the cassette compartment with its erasure prevention tab intact. The tape should be rewound or fast forward to the point where you want to begin recording.

The clock must be set correctly.

You should plan your programming sessions. If you program sessions that overlap, at least one of your sessions will not be recorded correctly.

The VCR buttons (PLAY, REW, FF) do not work during recording.
