INTRODUCTION

The WR-3000 receiver can be used with any of the Dakota Alert 3000 series transmitters (WMT-3000, WPT-3000, WHT-3000). The WR-3000 plugs in to a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall. When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter one of 4 different tones (Classical , Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, Whistle) will sound for a few sec- onds. There is also a volume control so you can set the sound to the desired level. The receiver is also equipped with 4 form “C” relays (one for each zone) and one 12 VDC output terminal that will activate for several seconds when a signal is received.The receiver can be user programmed so the 12VDC termi- nal and one relay will activate for 10 minutes if this is desired. The tones will still sound for several seconds.

OPERATION

1.Connect the end of the power supply to the receiver. (1)

2.Plug the power supply into a wall outlet

3.Locate the off/on switch (2) and move to the “on” position.

4.Press the “test” button (3) on the side of the receiver to determine the level of the volume. Rotate the “volume” knob (4) until you have the sound desired level.
