Smell of leaking gas

Are all the control knobs in the off position?

 

The gas hose is fitted incorrectly

 

The hose clamps require tightening or replacing .

 

The regulator is faulty and needs to be replaced.

 

 

 

Smoke and smell may be emitted for the first few hours of use. This is normal and is no cause for concern.

When metals heat up they expand and may cause ticking noises. This is normal and is no cause for concern.

Be advised that you may be charged for a service call, even during the warranty

period, if the fault is due to or caused by any of the above.

Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
