Replacing the Palm Rest

Procedure

1Slide the ports on the system board into the slots on the palm rest and place the system board on the palm rest.

2Slide the power-adapter port into the slot on the palm rest.

3Replace the screws that secure the system board to the palm rest.

Post-requisites

1Replace the display assembly.

2Replace the status light board.

3Replace the I/O board.

4Replace the speakers.

5Replace the base frame.

6Replace the keyboard.

7Replace the fan.

8Replace the hard drive.

9Replace the battery.

10Replace the base cover.
