Para instalar módulos SFP:

1Se as portas de entrada de canal de fibra tiverem módulos SFP conectados, vá para etapa 5.

2Remova o módulo SFP da embalagem antiestática.

3Remova a tampa protetora do módulo SFP e da porta SFP. Guarde as tampas protetoras para uso futuro.

4Insira o módulo SFP na porta do host, de modo que ele se encaixe com um clique.

5Conecte o cabo de canal de fibra. Consulte “Instalar e remover cabos de canal de fibra” na página 50.

Para remover módulos SFP:

1Remova o cabo de canal de fibra do módulo SFP. Consulte “Instalar e remover cabos de canal de fibra” na página 50.

NOTA: Para evitar danos ao cabo ou ao módulo SFP, desconecte o cabo de canal de fibra antes de remover o módulo SFP.

2Abra o fecho do módulo SFP. Para os módulos SFP que têm travas de fio, abra o fecho, puxando a aba para fora em um ângulo de 90°.

3Com a trava do módulo SFP na posição aberta, remova o módulo SFP. Segure a trava do fio e puxe o módulo SFP para fora da porta.

4Recoloque a tampa protetora no módulo SFP e na porta do host.

5Coloque o módulo SFP em uma embalagem antiestática.

ADVERTÊNCIA: Os ambientes de processamento de dados podem conter equipamentos que transmitem dados para links de sistemas com módulos laser que funcionam em níveis de energia maiores que os da Classe 1. Nunca olhe diretamente para a extremidade de um cabo de fibra ótica nem para um receptáculo aberto.
