System Information Guide

This document contains help, safety, and year 2000 Statement of Compliance information about your Dell Precision WorkStation. It also describes Dell online documentation and tells you how to access it.

Dell™ Online Documentation

You can access Dell online documentation by double-clicking the Dell Documents icon located on your Microsoft® Windows® desktop. Double-clicking the icon starts your Dell Document Viewer, from which you can view system and peripheral documentation.

The System User’s Guide includes descriptions of system features, instructions for setup and operation, instructions for installing and configuring drivers and utilities, information on embedded System Setup, instructions for performing various system upgrades, troubleshooting information, and technical specifications.

The Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Guide includes troubleshooting procedures and instructions for using the Dell Diagnostics to test your computer system.

Dell system documentation updates contain updated information about your system. Read these documents before reading other system documents because they may contain information that supersedes information in other documents.

You can obtain the latest versions of any of the documents on your hard-disk drive as well as other valuable troubleshooting information from the Dell Web site
