Important information

Before starting playback, make the connections between the different components and the settings on the receiver.

NOTE

Also refer to the operating instructions of the connected components when playing them.

Selecting the input source

Press the input source select button

(BD, DVD, TV, SAT/CBL, TUNER, DOCK, GAME, V.AUX) to be played back.

The desired input source can be selected directly.

You can also use the following operation to select an input source.

nnUsing the button on the main unit

Press SOURCE d or SOURCE f.

•Every time you press SOURCE d or SOURCE f, the input source switches in the following order.

DVD BD TUNER DOCK

TV SAT/CBL GAME V.AUX

•When iPod 1 on the main unit is pressed, the input source of this unit is switched to “DOCK” and the connected iPod is automatically played (vpage 16 “iPod play function”).

Adjusting the master volume

Use Mdfto adjust the volume.

nn When the “Volume Display” setting (vpage 34) is “Relative”

nn When the “Volume Display” setting (vpage 34) is “Absolute”

•The variable range differs according to the input signal and channel level setting.

You can also operate via the main unit. In this case, perform the

following operations.

Turn MASTER VOLUME to adjust the volume.

Turning off the sound temporarily

Press N.

• The power indicator flashes green.

• “MUTE” indicator on the display lights.
