CAUTION: If you install the heater in a home garage

heater pilot and burner must be at least 18" above floor

locate heater where moving vehicle will not hit it

CAUTION:Thisheatercreates warmaircurrents.Thesecurrents move heat to wall surfaces next to heater. Installing heater next to vinyl or cloth wall coverings or operating heater where impu- rities (such as, but not limited to, tobaccosmoke, aromaticcandles, cleaning fluids, oil or kerosene lamps, etc.) in the air exist, may discolor walls or cause odors.

IMPORTANT: Vent-free heaters add moisture to the air. Although this is beneficial, installing heater in rooms without enough ventilation air may cause mildew to form from too much moisture. See Air for Combustion and Ventilation, page 5. If high humid- ity is experienced, a dehumidifier may be used to help lower the water vapor content in the air.

INSTALLING HEATER TO WALL

Methods For Attaching Heater To Wall Attach heater to wall in one of two ways:

1.Attaching to wall stud

2.Attaching to wall anchor

Attaching to Wall Stud: This method provides the strongest hold. Insert mounting screws into wall studs.

Attaching to Wall Anchor: This method allows you to attach mounting screws to hollow walls (wall areas between studs) or to solid walls (concrete or masonry).

VSF30PT, LSFG20NT specifications

The Desa VSF30PT and LSFG20NT represent two significant innovations in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry, catering to diverse consumer needs and preferences.

The Desa VSF30PT is a powerful and efficient forced-air heater designed for residential and light commercial applications. One of its primary features is its high-efficiency output, providing a substantial heating capacity while consuming minimal energy. The unit is equipped with a robust heat exchanger that enhances its performance, ensuring optimal heat distribution throughout the space. A notable characteristic of the VSF30PT is its user-friendly digital thermostat, allowing for precise temperature control, which can significantly improve comfort levels and reduce energy consumption.

Additionally, the Desa VSF30PT incorporates advanced safety features, such as automatic shut-off protection in case of overheating or airflow obstruction. Its compact design makes it easy to install in tight spaces, providing flexibility in placement without compromising on effectiveness. The unit operates quietly, minimizing noise disturbances, which is especially important in residential settings.

On the other hand, the LSFG20NT is an innovative gas furnace that combines performance with energy efficiency. This model is equipped with a variable-speed blower motor that allows for consistent airflow and improved humidity control, making it an excellent choice for homeowners who prioritize comfort. Its multi-stage heating design ensures that the furnace operates at different levels according to the heating demand, optimizing energy usage and enhancing overall efficiency.

The LSFG20NT also features a modulating gas valve, which adjusts the burner output to provide just the right amount of heat for any given situation. This not only improves comfort but also contributes to significant energy savings over time. Furthermore, the LSFG20NT is designed with advanced filtration systems that improve indoor air quality by trapping dust, allergens, and other particles.

Both units showcase the latest technology in HVAC systems, emphasizing energy efficiency, safety, and user convenience. With their unique features and characteristics, the Desa VSF30PT and LSFG20NT stand out in the market, making them ideal choices for those seeking reliable and efficient heating solutions. Whether for residential or light commercial applications, these models promise performance that meets the demands of modern-day heating needs.
