6Press or to highlight the rating you want to block,
then press ENTER.
Notes:
When you first set parental controls, they take effect immediately.
If you have set parental controls then tune to a blocked channel or
program, you are prompted to enter the password. After you enter the
password, parent al contro ls are tu ned off.
To turn parental controls back on, you need to turn off your TV. When you
turn it back on, parental controls are turned back on.
7Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press EXIT to
close the menu.
Blocking unrated TV
To block unrated TV:
1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2Press or to highlight SETTINGS. The SETTINGS menu opens.
3Press or to highlight Parental Controls, then press ENTER
or . The Enter Password screen opens.
U.S. TV ratings (age-based)
NONE Not rated.
TV-Y All children.
TV-Y7 Suitable for children 7 and older.
TV-G General audiences.
