4Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit password. The default password is 0000. The Parental Controls sub menu opens.

5Press or to highlight System Lock, then press or to select On (to enable the blocking scheme you set up and to set up the blocking scheme (otherwise the rating setting can not be accessed) or Off (to disable the blocking scheme you set up).

6Press EXIT to close the menu.

Setting or changing the password

To set the parental password:

1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

2Press or to highlight Setup, then press . The Setup menu opens with Parental Controls selected.

3Press ENTER. The Enter Password screen opens.

4Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit password. The default password is 0000. You should change the password to a number you can remember. The Parental Controls sub-menu opens.

5Press or to highlight Change Password, then press ENTER. The password entry screen opens.

6Press the number buttons to input old password, then input a new password, and then confirm the new password again. The Parental Controls sub menu reopens.

Note: If you forget your password, enter 9999.

7Press EXIT to close the menu.
