Handling discs
A dirty, scratched, or warped disc may cause skipping or noise.
To care for discs:
•Hold discs by their edges.
•Store discs in their cases when you are not using them.
•Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperature, or dust. Prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures can warp discs.
•Do not stick labels or tape on discs.
Cleaning discs
To clean a disc:
•With a soft cloth, wipe the disc from the center to the outer edge.
Caution: Do not use detergent or abrasive cleaning agents. They will damage the disc surface.

No picture, no sound | • Make sure that your |

| Try plugging a lamp into |

| combo, then turn it back |

No sound | • Press MUTE to make sure |
| that the sound has not |
| been muted. |

| that the volume is not set |
| too low. |
| • Try another station. The |
| problem may be with the |
| broadcaster. |

|
Poor sound | • Adjust the sound. For more |

|
No picture on some channels | • Make sure that the correct |
| channel is selected. |
| • Adjust the antenna. |
|
|
No color for some channels | • Try another channel. The |
| problem may be with the |
| broadcaster. |

|
Spots on some channels | • Make sure that the antenna |
| is connected correctly and |
| securely. |
| • Make sure that the antenna |
| and antenna cabling is in |
| good condition. |
| • Adjust the picture using |
| the FINE TUNE option. |

Abnormal functioning | • Disconnect your |
| TV/DVD combo from the |
| power outlet, wait about |
| 10 seconds, then |
| reconnect the power. If the |
| problem still exists, contact |
| authorized service |
| personnel. |
