18 Using the TV

5Press CH+ or CH– to select a parental option. You can select:

•Parental Guide—Blocks U.S. TV programs based on ratings. For more information, see “U.S. TV program ratings” on page 18.

•MPAA Rating—Blocks movies based on ratings. For more information, see “Movie ratings” on page 19.

•CA Eng Rating—Blocks Canadian English TV programs. For more information, see “Canadian English TV program ratings” on page 18.

•CA Fren Rating—Blocks Canadian French TV programs. For more information, see “Canadian French TV program ratings” on page 18.

•Block Unrated—Turn On to block all unrated programs. Press VOL+ or VOL– to change the setting, then press

ENTER to confirm.

6When the selected sub-menu opens, press CH+, CH–, VOL+, or VOL– to select an item to block, then press ENTER to confirm. A small lock icon appears in the box opposite the rating you blocked. All programs above that rating are blocked as well.

7To unblock the item, press ENTER again.

	or situations, and coarse language.
TV-14	Parents strongly cautioned. May
	contain sexual content, strong
	language, and intense violence.
TV-MA	Mature audiences only. May contain
	sexual violence, explicit sexual
	content, and profane language.

In addition to the primary ratings, some ratings let you block certain types of content.
