Si possible, éloignez le câble d’alimentation de tout autre installation électrique du bateau, particulièrement celle du moteur. Cette précaution fournira une meilleure isolation aux interférences électriques. Le câble d’alimentation est composé de deux fils, un rouge et un noir. Le fil rouge est positif, le fil noir est négatif. Assurez-vous que le porte-fusible soit relié au fil rouge aussi près que possible de la source d’alimentation.

Par exemple, si vous devez brancher le câble d’alimentation à la batterie ou

àla barre d’alimentation, reliez une extrémité du porte-fusible directement

àl'une de ces dernières. Ceci protégera à la fois le sondeur et le câble d’alimentation en cas de court-circuit. Le fusible utilisé est de 3 Ampères.

Attention:

N'utilisez jamais ce produit sans qu'un fusible de 3 ampères ne soit branché au câble d'alimentation! Le manquement à l'utilisa- tion d'un fusible de 3 ampères annulera votre garantie!

Cet appareil est équipé d’une protection à la polarité inverse. Il ne subira aucun dommage si les fils électriques sont branchés à l’envers. Cepen- dant, l’appareil ne fonctionnera pas tant que les fils ne seront pas correc- tement branchés.
