6. Turn on the monitor’s Power Button and then switch on the PC’s power.

The monitor’s power indicator will light up (green).

If an image does not appear, refer to the “6. TROUBLESHOOTING” (p.24) for advice.

Whenever finished, turn off the PC and the monitor.

7. Set the kind of graphics card.

“8bit” of “Monochrome” (the 8bit monochrome graphics card) is set as default.

If your computer is equipped with the 10bit monochrome graphics card or the 8bit color graphics card, follow the procedure below.

(1) Select the <Signal Selection> in the ScreenManager (p.15) <Others> menu.

(2)Set the graphics card equipped the computer.

8.When using the optional calibration kit (p.29), connect the upstream port of the monitor to the downstream port of the USB compliant PC with the USB cable.

For further details about the calibration, refer to user’s manual in the calibration kit.

NOTE

Adjust brightness of the screen depending on the brightness of your environment.

Be sure to take adequate rests. A 10-minute rest period each hour is suggested.
