Timer
• Suppose you want to time a 3-min ute long
distance phone call.
Procedure
Step Press
1. Touch timer/clock and
number 1. timer/
clock 1
2. Enter time. 3 0 0
3. Touch timer/clock. The
timer will count down.
To cancel the timer,
touch the STOP/clear
pad once.

NOTE
timer operates a s a kitchen timer and cannot
be used when the oven is operating.
Demonstration mode
To demonstrate, touch timer /clock, the numbe r 0
and then touch the START/add a minute p ad and
hold for three seconds. DEMO ON will appear in the
display. Cookin g operation s and specific special
features can now b e demonstrated with n o power
in the oven. For example, touch add a minute p ad
and the display wi ll show and count down quickly
to END.
To cancel, touch timer /clock, the number 0 and
STOP/clear pads. If easier, unplug the oven from
the electrical outlet and replug.
Light
Press the light pad one time for high, twice for low
and three times to turn off.
Fan
The fan will automatically start when heat rises from
range surfa ce units or burner s. This protects the
Over the Range M icrowave Oven from excessive
temperature rise. The fan will stay on until the tem-
perature decreases. It cannot be turned off manually
during this time.
For other uses, pres s fan pad one time for high,
twice for low and three times to turn off.
