Select the Delay Start

Delay

With the DELAY button, you can delay the start of a programme by between 30 minutes (30' and a maximum of 20 hours (20H).

1.Select the programme

2.Press the DELAY button as many times as necessary until the required start delay appears on the multi display, e.g. 12H if the programme is to be started in 12 hours.

If 20H is displayed and you press the button again, the time delay will be cancelled. The display will show 0' and then the duration of the selected pro- gramme.

3.Toactivatethedelaytimer,presstheSTART/PAUSE button. The amount of time remaining until the programme is set to start is continuously dis- played (e.g. 12H, 11H, 10H, … 30' e+tc).

If you wish to add some laundry while the machine is performing the countdown, after having done so and having closed the door, press START/PAUSE again, in order to allow the machine to complete the remaining countdown time.

Child safety device

The child lock can be set to prevent a programme being accidentally started or a programme in operation being accidentally changed. The child safety device locks all buttons and the pro- gramme knob. The child safety device can be activated or deactivated by holding down the

“Dryness” and “Long anticrease” (long anti-crease) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Programme in operation cannot be changed

The symbol

appears in the display to indicate that the child safety device is activated.

The child safety device is not deactivat-

ed once the programme comes to an GB end.

If you want to set a new programme, you must first deactivate the child safe- ty device.

Display

The display shows the following information:

Duration of selected programme

After you have selected the programme, its duration (in hours and minutes) appears on the display. It is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum load accepted for each type of fabric and of the required degree of drying.

When the programme starts, the remaining time is displayed every 5 minutes.

Delayed start

If you have selected a delay time by means of the relevant button, the display shows it for 3 seconds; then it shows the duration of the previously selected programme. The countdown is displayed every 30 minutes until it displays “90 minutes” and then hour by hour.

End of programme

A flashing zero indicates the end of the programme and it is displayed after the “anticreasing” phase.
