NOTE: When performing the following step,
be sure the starter rope is not caught under
the cable clamps. The starter rope must
hang freely to operate properly.

7. Alignone cable clamp above the tube bolts
and the other below the starter rope han-
dle. Installthe cableclamps one at atime
around the tube and throttle cable.
NOTE: Ensure throttle cable is in groove of
clamps and lies flat against the upper handle
tube after installation (see illust ration above).

ON/OFF SWITCH

The ON/OFFswitch is used to stop engine. To
stop the engine, move the switch to the OFF
position.

PRIMER BULB

ThePRIM ER BULB removes air from the car-
buretor and fuel lines and fills them withfuel.
This allows you to start the engine withfewer
pulls on the starter rope. Activate the primer
bulb by pressing it and allowing it to return to
its original form.

CHOKE

The CHOKE helps to supply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold starting. Activate the chokeby
moving the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE
position.After the engine at tempts to start, move
the choke lever to the HALF CHOKEposit ion.
Onceengine has started, move the choke lever
to the OFF CHOKE position.
