UPS Electrical Installation

2.3.1Dry Contacts

Volt-free and isolated contacts are used for interfacing to customer connections external to the NXL unit. These circuits use at least 8mA of current at +24V.

NOTE

All auxiliary cables must be segregated from power circuits (for shielding), must be double- insulated and should be 12-24AWG (2.5-0.2mm2) stranded for maximum runs between 82-164 ft. (25 and 50m) respectively.

NOTE

If connection to more than one module is required, use a separate contact for each module.
