ThermostatInstallation
1. Unplugtheunitandremovethebackpanelofthestove.
2. Locatethethermostatconnectblock,labeledJ18,ontherearofthecontrolboard,near
thebottom(Seeimagebelowandpg.37ofthismanualforacontrolboarddiagram).It
willhaveasmallwire“jumper”installedinitfromthefactory.Thisjumperbypassesthe
thermostatandshouldbesaved.
3. Loosenthetwoscrewsusingasmallslotted“jewelers”screwdriverandremovethe
“jumper.”
4. Insertthetwothermostatwiresinplaceofthe“jumper”andretightenthescrews.
5. Reinstallthebackpanelandmountthethermostat;thecontrol��boardautomatically
readsthethermostatandyourstoveisnowreadyforthermostatoperation.

forthermostaticoperation:Thestovecomesfromthefactorypreprogrammedin“On/Offmode,”
whichturnsthestoveonandoffwhenthecallforheatcomesorleaves,likeafurnace.Thesecond,or
“High/Lowmode,”burnsatwhicheverheatrangeyousetthestoveatuntilthecallforheatleaves,at
whichpointthestovegoestotheLowheatrangesetting.
Tosetthestoveinthe“High/Lowmode,”unplugtheunitandplugitbackin,thenpressandholdboth
downarrowsuntilHLappearsintheheatrangeandblowerspeedwindows.Theunitisnowin
“High/Lowmode.”(Note:Repeatthistochangebackto“On/Offmode;”a00willappearintheheat
rangeandblowerspeedwindows).UsingathermostatinOn/Offmodemayshortenthelifeofyour
